Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Camp Oty’Okwa
Located at Camp Oty’Okwa, in the beautiful Hocking Hills, guests will be treated to a gourmet holiday banquet. The evening will also include musical entertainment with “Just the DJ” and live performances by “Folkwood Players” and “Audie Wykle”. Wine tasting will be offered by Rhoads Garden Center and Ravens Glenn Winery. Offerings at the silent auction include donations by local merchants and artisans.
You can support this event through a sponsorship, auction donation and/or by purchasing event tickets. All sponsors will be recognized in the event program and receive acknowledgement of their donation from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
All proceeds from the event benefit the camper scholarship fund at Camp Oty’Okwa. Your registration helps bring a child to Camp. You may also request to sponsor a child’s trip to Camp.
Tickets are $30 per person or get a private table for 6 for $225.

Weekend Survival Workshop with Joe Brehm
Saturday, October 28-29, 2017 at Camp Oty’Okwa
9:00 am Saturday to 2:00 pm
Join Joe Brehm at Camp Oty’Okwa for an overnight wilderness survival workshop. Participants will tent camp in the woods of Camp Oty’Okwa while being introduced to several different shelter-building and fire-starting techniques, and making simple meals and wild tea over a fire started without matches. Participants will also take home a bow drill kit, yarrow salve, and earthen ware.
-Clothes for all weather
-Small backpack/ day pack
-Recommended but not necessary: poncho tarp, parachute cord, compass. handkerchief, enamel cup to use on the fire.
Registration includes two lunches, a campfire dinner, and breakfast. Registration fees will also pay for a Mora knife for every participant.
Registration limited to 15 participants.
