Kitchen Prep Worker

$10 / hour – Part time (including evenings & weekends)

Qualifications: Must be flexible, friendly, and open to communicating effectively with staff and children.

All employees must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Functions: Assist cook in any and every way during preparation of meals

Responsiblities: 

1. Maintain and clean cooking area including proper storage of unused food

a. sanitize food contact surfaces & dishwashing area

b. launder kitchen linens

2. Making coffee

3. Maintaining a clean dining hall area (including restrooms)

4. Assist with grocery deliveries

5. Assist with disposing of trash within the dining hall area

6. Training for USDA Summer Food Program will be available. Adherence to guidelines expected.

Report any problems with kitchen operation to Food Service Manager

Maintenance Worker

$10 / hour – Part time (including evenings & weekends)

Qualifications: 

  1. General knowledge of hand-tools, power tools and outdoor equipment (weed eater, mower, etc.)
  2. General knowledge of building maintenance

All employees must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Maintenance Director with routine maintenance, inspection of premises and equipment
  2. Perform preventative maintenance
  3. Handle basic repairs and maintenance
  4. Perform daily ground-keeping tasks (mowing, trash removal, organization of area)
  5. General plumbing upkeep
  6. Painting: building, rooms, and other structures as needed
  7. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
